We're building a
gender-equitable
future for AI.
Our Mission
We're fighting for AI that is safe & equitable toward girls and women.
Girls for Algorithmic Justice focuses on issues in AI that disproportionately impact women and girls, including explicit deepfakes, algorithmic bias, and online harassment. We're leveraging grassroots policy advocacy and digital outreach to push for essential AI policy change and empower victims of online exploitation. Our #StopExplicitDeepfakes campaign to destigmatize explicit deepfakes is the first of its kind and has reached over 5,000 people on social media.
We're working to co-create a world where the online safety of women, girls, and all people of marginalized gender identities is non-negotiable.

We are a global youth-led movement fighting for ethical AI, gender equity, and digital justice. From policy advocacy to grassroots organizing, Girls for Algorithmic Justice is shaping the future of AI by ensuring that technology serves, protects, and empowers—not harms or excludes--women, girls, and other folks of marginalized gender identities. Join us in reimagining a world where AI is a tool for justice, not discrimination.

Introducing
#StopExplicitDeepfakes
Explicit deepfakes are one of the fastest-growing digital threats to women and girls online. AI-generated, non-consensual sexual content is being weaponized to harass, shame, and silence individuals—yet laws and platform policies remain dangerously inadequate.

#StopExplicitDeepfakes is our global campaign pushing for stronger legal protections, corporate accountability, and AI regulations to combat this growing form of digital abuse.
