Co-Chief Brand Officer

Stephanie Choi is a junior at Canyon Crest Academy with a deep interest in AI algorithmic bias and its intersections with law, neuroscience, robotics, and criminal justice.

Stephanie pursues the technical side of AI bias by learning Python and studying how biases emerge and are measured in AI systems. As a Vice President of her school’s International Youth Neuroscience Association, she explores AI’s role in Alzheimer’s detection, combining her passions for neuroscience and technology. On her FRC Robotics Team, she learns about hands-on engineering and technology, and as a leader in her school’s Girls Who Code club, she advocates for empowering women in technology.

On the policy side, Stephanie is passionate about algorithmic justice, particularly in AI recourse mechanisms and deepfake regulation. As the founder of RecourseNow, an organization dedicated to advocating for recourse mechanisms to address AI harm, she works at the intersection of policy, storytelling, film, and community outreach to raise awareness about algorithmic injustice and recourse advocacy.

Stephanie is committed to fighting for a future where AI fosters equity and leads to a fairer world, instead of perpetuating pre-existing biases and injustices.
