Emma Le
Chief Policy Officer
Emma Le is a Political Science student at the University of California, Riverside. After graduation, she plans to attend law school to specialize in the intersection between corporate tech, law, and policy.
Emma has a long history of involvement in advocacy. In high school, she served on the founding boards of several youth-led advocacy organizations. She is experienced in leading large national teams and empowering the youth to advocate for their future.
In college, Emma is deeply involved in campus organizations and the local community. She has served on one of the first post-pandemic executive boards of Womxn in the Law. WITL is the only UCR campus organization dedicated to diverse women pursuing a legal career post-graduation. As the Director of Academic Affairs, she led academic and professional development such as guest speaker events with Averie Bishop and Attorney Kathleen Martinez.
As the current Senior Advisor, Emma leads outreach efforts and heads the WITL Alumni Committee. Emma is passionate about fostering the next generation of diverse pre-law students.
Having grown up in an immigrant community, Emma understands the struggles of underrepresented students and is passionate about uplifting minority voices on a system-wide level. She was previously the campus ambassador to the UC Advocacy Network. She served as a liaison between her campus, UC leadership, and policymakers in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. Emma currently serves as the Associated Students of UC Riverside FundtheUC Coordinator and lobbies for more affordable and accessible higher education.
In the age of AI, Emma is concerned with the effects of developing technologies on women and minority groups. She is committed to the support of technological innovation with the intent of uplifting marginalized communities.
